Sterile Processing Technician
Sterile Processing is the cleaning, packaging and sterilizing of surgical instruments. This course covers introduction to central service or sterile processing. Topics taught include: microbiology, aseptic technique, disinfection, decontamination, sterilization, and wrapping/packaging of surgical instruments.

Surgical Technician is the setting up of the operating room for surgery and ensuring that all necessary and emergency surgical instruments, medical supplies and equipment is available in the operating room. This course will teach you to able to aid the surgeon and surgical first assistant by having surgical instruments, supplies and devices available on the sterile back table, mayo stand set- up and safely handle these items while using aseptic technique.
